External Access to Crystal Reports
in BusinessObjects Enterprise

CRC Report Request Server provides all the report scheduling options of ePortfolio/InfoView to external systems. With the Request Server, any application or system within the enterprise can schedule reports with the parameters, formats, and destinations available to web desktop users. The external process simply writes a Report Request Record to a database to schedule a report. When the Request Server reads the database, it forms a report scheduling request and schedules the report with the BusinessObjects Enterprise system. External systems can check their requests to determine their status. BusinessObjects Enterprise administrators can view report requests and processing history through the web.

Now you can build an HTML web site and provide links to view reports from the BusinessObjects Enterprise system without building an interface to Enterprise. CRC's "glue" routines do all the interface work for you.
