ePortfolio for BusinessObjects XI
ePortfolio Add-ons

ePortfolio for BusinessObjects XI Many of our clients have upgraded from Crystal Enterprise 9 or 10 to BusinessObjects XI, yet they want to continue to use their customized ePortfolio. Some want to keep the benefits of their customizations while others don't want to re-train users to use InfoView. Some clients have found InfoView has features that conflict with company policies and cannot be disabled. CRC supplies an ePortfolio upgrade that works with BusinessObjects XI and XI R2.

Show JobDetails provides extended information about report instances. For example, you can see which parameters were used to schedule a report, the custom printer set up, and to which e-mail addresses the report was sent. To view these details: Go to ePortfolio's History screen, click on status, and "Show JobDetails" appears on the status page. Click the link, and view almost all of the report's details. If you click another link a full page shows every property of the report instance stored in the Enterprise database.

InstanceScheduler provides ePortfolio users with a way to quickly schedule a new report using the scheduling options from any instance on the History screen. Select a report that failed and correct the scheduling options -- other options do not need to be re-entered. Or, click on a report instance to run the report again. InstanceScheduler "clones" a report's previous scheduling options and presents the user with the standard ePortfolio scheduling screen, where any scheduling option can be modified, starting from the previous selections.

User Activity History tracks actions performed by ePortfolio users and stores the history of their activities in a database. Does anyone look at this report? When did Roger last access the system? Who ran this report? For Enterprise administrators, the User Activity History provides content and user focused information that is complementary to the system level metrics stored in the Enterprise Audit database. This information is often needed for company compliance with HIPPA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and FDA requirements or to meet corporate security standards.
