Enterprise Integration

CRC provides a full range of enterprise integration services for BusinessObjects Enterprise. Some examples are:

Enterprise Web Integration provides a simple HTTP interface to BusinessObjects Enterprise from other corporate web applications. An HTTP request can be formed and sent from any web-connected application to run a report with parameters or to view a report instance within the requesting web application. Corporate web developers need no training or expertise on an application program interface to BusinessObjects Enterprise - the web server does all the work. CRC provides the integration, a test and administration interface, and a complete audit trail of all external requests made to the BusinessObjects Enterprise system.

Enterprise Application Integration provides a means for external applications to schedule and run reports in the BusinessObjects Enterprise system. Applications can schedule reports with the full range of options available to users with ePortfolio and InfoView. Corporate application developers need no training or expertise on an application program interface to BusinessObjects Enterprise - a request is made by simply writing a record to a database. Custom Security Integration for a major telecommunications company. Users and groups defined within the SAP R/3 transaction system are replicated nightly into the Crystal Enterprise system so that changes in job assignments are automatically reflected in the folders and reports that users can access. Using Crystal Enterprise's group hierarchies, security from multiple application sources can be integrated into a single Crystal Enterprise system so that each user can schedule and view the combined reports for all their job functions across multiple applications.

ERP Report Spooling provides a simple means for vendor supplied reports to be published into Crystal Enterprise within the CE folder and report structure so that application specific reports can be viewed through the web using a common interface.

ePortfolio Customizations also provide a cost effective way of extending Crystal Enterprise to meet the unique needs of a company. The flexible user navigation and security integration of ePortfolio can be extended to provide new functions through cost-effective customization.
