Show Desktop
creates an indented "table of contents" for the Enterprise desktop.The listing shows folders and the names of their contents, including reports, packages, programs, and shortcuts. The number of instances for each report and program is shown in parentheses. A tally of each listing type is shown at the end.
The script itself is rather plain and makes a brief yet complete tutorial on accessing the Enterprise system from a script. The script is self-contained, so no configuration is needed, such as defining program constants or setting up ODBC links to external databases.
