I want to be able to schedule Enterprise reports from another application, but
my other application doesn't have an interface to Enterprise supplied
by BusinessObjects or my application vendor. I don't want to view the reports,
just schedule them.
How can I schedule Enterprise reports from any application?
Schedule any report, from any other application, with full parameters and
output format and destination options, right?
Take a look at our Request Server. Your other application must be able to write
to a database table. Simply write one record into the Report Request table, on
the database of your choice, and you're done. The Request Server reads the table
and processes the request in Enterprise. If you want, you can read back your
request to check its processing status and result. No more excuses - Enterprise
reporting is, well, enterprise wide.
