Abstract:
When SBC migrated from Seagate Info to Crystal Enterprise, the migration team took full advantage of their opportunity to re-engineer the integration utilities developed for Seagate Info. The new system supports security replication from multiple source systems, and it processes SAP generated reports for secured web viewing in Crystal Enterprise. New CE functionality includes on-demand reports from a custom Java application and a database interface for servicing parameter based report requests. Web based administration and system monitoring tools using secured Crystal Server Pages complete the integration effort. Adam Gentry from SBC and Chris Christian from CRC Business Solutions describe the strategies and technologies used in SBC’s enterprise class reporting solution.
