Crystal Enterprise Scripting
CE Scripting: A Practitioner's Guide

Abstract:
An Enterprise script is a program that runs in the background, under the control of the Enterprise system. Scripts are written in VB Script or JavaScript, and use the same Enterprise Framework object model to access the Enterprise system.

Typical scripting tasks include:

• Make mass changes to Enterprise objects
• Document the current Enterprise system
• Manage events
• Schedule groups of reports
• Find objects within the Enterprise system
• Export Enterprise information for external use
