Abstract:
Most companies want to customize ePortfolio to meet their needs. Because ePortfolio is
implemented in Crystal Server Pages, the web pages that make up ePortfolio can be changed
in ways like other web applications. Easy changes are to add a company logo or links to
company portals or on-line help systems. Others are more sophisticated, such as adding
a function to schedule reports from existing report instances. Some changes simply
remove features that companies do not want report users to use, such as changing the
report database source. In this presentation, experienced integrators describe actual
changes clients have implemented, including CRC's near-bullet proof InstanceScheduler
add on, their User Activity History, and solutions to corporate compliance issues such
as putting database source name and scheduling user within a report body for FDA, HIPPA,
and other compliance.
