Abstract:
Within the BusinessObjects Enterprise environment, Crystal Reports can be linked using HyperText links.
The advantage of using a separate report instead of an on-demand subreport is that the full capabilities of the Report Viewer are available, such as Export and Print.
Within the Crystal Report design, links are defined within a text field's HyperLink property using the formula editor. Hypertext Links using formulas provide a means to vary each link based on the report section's current data. As a result, each report link within a report can result in a new report based on the link's context.
